The Journey is Not Linear

This timeline represents my journey as a creative entrepreneur and social impact leader. From launching my first streetwear boutique to founding Atelier 411 Studios and SouthHigh Hospitality, each milestone reflects my dedication to empowering underrepresented voices and driving transformative change. These experiences have allowed me to blend storytelling, innovation, and strategy to build platforms that amplify diverse perspectives and reshape cultural narratives.


2007 - 2012

2007: Founded Acquired Sole, a streetwear boutique focused on exclusive collections and cultivating a street culture community.

  • Milestone: Expanded Acquired Sole into a digital platform with an iOS magazine and grew a loyal customer base through successful marketing campaigns.


2012 - 2017

2012 - Present: Developed the operations backend process for DJ Lonnie B’s "Art of Noise" event, which has successfully run for over a decade, creating unique music experiences.

2015: Co-founded 2Cents Sports and 2Cents FC, media platforms bringing fresh perspectives to sports culture.

  • Project Highlight: Led all aspects of film production, from budgeting and scheduling to post-production.

  • Milestone (2022): 2Cents Sports and 2Cents FC were acquired by FortyOneMag, marking a significant success in sports media.

2017 - 2020: Volunteer at CreativeMornings, a global breakfast lecture series for the creative community.

  • Role: Supported monthly creative events in Columbus as part of the worldwide initiative.


2017 - 2022

2017 - 2018: Launched Billion Or Bust Ventures as Creative Director, consulting startups on brand strategy, marketing, and UX/UI design.

  • Project Highlight: Supported startups with impactful brand strategies and UX/UI designs, driving their growth and scaling.

2018: Created the operational process for Chef Nikki’s High End Affair, an upscale cannabis event.

  • Project Highlight: Secured partnerships with prominent cannabis brands like Weedmaps, Cookies, Viola, and Cresco Labs, and developed video content and social media strategies to boost brand engagement.

2018: Led a successful crowdfunding campaign for PopCom as Content Director, raising $1 million via StartEngine.

  • Project Highlight: Developed and launched a podcast and content strategy to drive engagement and investment.

2020: Founded Atelier 411 Studios, a creative and production agency focused on empowering underrepresented voices through storytelling and intent-driven consulting.

  • Milestone: Produced high-quality films and projects that amplify diverse voices and drive social impact.

2020 - Present: IDEA Committee Board Member at Columbus Museum of Art.

  • Highlight: Co-Chaired Wonderball 2022, raising $230,000 for the museum.

2020 - Present: Advisor at Pride Fund 1, providing guidance on economic empowerment initiatives.

2022: Launched SouthHigh Hospitality, a venture using AI to redefine customer experiences in hospitality.

2022: Founded The Polymath Foundation to drive immediate action on community needs through the arts.

  • Mission: Create vibrant, inclusive spaces where creativity, culture, and community drive social change.

  • Initiatives: Invest in grassroots-driven programs through grants, direct funding, and community spaces, with 100% of returned gains reinvested into future programming.


2022 - Now

2023: Directed "My Soul Touched the Waters", a documentary capturing the transformative impact of a cultural exchange trip between Ohio residents and Cuban artists.

  • Highlight: The film showcases Cuba's rich artistic heritage, from street art to dance, and explores the complex realities of Cuban life.

  • Recognition: Selected for the 2024 Havana Biennial, celebrating its impact on cross-cultural understanding and its visually powerful storytelling.

2023: Created and successfully launched The Loop House Music Festival, bringing unique music and cultural experiences to the community.

2023: Launched the inaugural Southside Community Day, a neighborhood event bringing together community resources, entertainment, and activities for youth and families.

  • Event Details: Included a neighborhood cleanup, block party, backpack giveaway, E-sports, and a resource fair with partners like Nationwide Children’s, Replenish Brands, and The Reeb Center.

2023 - Present: Board Member at New Leaders Council and Fellow (since 2020), focused on civil rights and social action.

2023 - Present: Member of the Board of Trustees at Greater Columbus Arts Council, supporting arts and culture initiatives in Columbus.

2024: Recognized by Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40 for contributions to creative industries and social impact.

2025 (November): Opening of Barkada Hi-Fi Lounge, a cannabis-friendly, AI-driven lounge under SouthHigh Hospitality, designed to create immersive, personalized experiences for members.
